I came across an article that reminded me of my blog. You can read about the article here:
Collecting
Here's what I wrote to the guy:
Hello! I came across your article when I was looking at the web site Coinflation (http://www.coinflation.com/). I've been doing something similar this past year in New York City and have been blogging about it. Here's a link to my blog: http://streetchange.blogspot.com/ How much money have you found total? I'm rather curious.
So far this year I've found over $32. It's rather amazing how much money you can find lying around, right?
Anyway, at the end of the year, I'm matching what I've found and giving it to a charity. I've convinced a few friends also to match the total amount. A little change can go a long way.
Keep up the collecting!
Dagfinn
We'll see if I get a response.
In coin collecting news, I found a few pennies over the weekend. One I was coming home from the soccer game between the Red Bulls and New England Revolution. A playoff game and a tie. Go figure. Anyway, I was approaching Rector street when I saw the circular dark spot in the light.

Is there any way we can donate BEFORE the end of the year so that we can get the write-off for this year's taxes, instead of next's? I know it doesn't really matter, it's just that I always lose those "thank you" letters and would rather just have to keep track of one for three or four months, rather than a whole year and a half.
